Sleepless in
Seattle
Since 2014, Urban Hands has worked closely with the grass-roots initiative called Sleepless in Seattle, providing warmth and hope to thousands of men, women, and children experiencing homelessness across King County.
This past December with the help of over 100 volunteers, we were able to distribute over 700 sleeping bags, sleeping mats, and care packages in just four short hours. The remaining materials were all donated to local agencies who do direct street outreach.
For more information on how to be involved in this project, please visit www.sleeplessinseattle.org
Our Partners
The Upper Crust has been providing full-service catering all across the Puget Sounds for since 1984. In 2007, Tent City 3 became the first of our meal partners when owner Jim Lustig, and GM Don Platt decided to pursue a different sort of catering. Since then, the Upper Crust has continued to provide hundreds of meals in partnership with Urban Hands. We currently share kitchen and office space, which contributes to the spirit of collaboratoin and shared mission between our two organizations. Please visit the Upper Crust's website for more information or if you're interested in a catering quote!
